Burial
PET CEMETERY
There are currently no Pet Cemeteries in Scotland who are members of the Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria. The Pet Undertaker is a member of this association and is therefore governed by their code of conduct, we are therefore pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to make use of the facilities at the Paws to Rest Pet Cemetery, a few miles over the Scottish Border just south of Carlisle. The Paws to Rest Pet Cemetery is a member of the Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria and follows their code of conduct. Nestling in the Eden Valley, the Pet Cemetery is set amongst beautiful mature woodland, offering a peaceful and tranquil final resting place. The Pet Cemetery is designated as a nature Cemetery and as such permanent grave decoration is limited to a shrub or tree or a small approved headstone.
If you choose to have your pet buried, all that is required is one telephone call to the Pet Undertaker. We will come to your home or Veterinary Surgery and collect your pet in a Pet Hearse. The Pet Undertaker will then take your pet on it's final journey to the Pet Cemetery where your pet will be laid to rest and where bereaved pet owners are welcome to visit, so important in the early days of loss.
