Danny 11th July 1997 - 8th Sept 2008

Eleven years have passed and more
Since Danny first came through the door
Fox red fur and pure white chest
I knew that he would be the best

Danny was a playful boy
Went his walkies with a toy
He really loved to hump and eat
He'd pull the socks right off your feet

He loved to swim and fetch a stick
In fact this was his favorite trick
He was such a happy boy
Ami was his favorite toy

When his birthday came his tail did whirl
Maddie was his very best girl
He didn't like the squeaky toys
He loved his babies, girls and boys

Danny grew into a lovely lad
Always happy, never sad
He was loved and adored by all
He loved to play find the ball

When Danny was seven along came a brother
Paddy the pup was like no other
Paddy loved him from day one
He chewed Danny's legs, thought it was fun

Time passed and Danny accepted the pup
In one bed, they would snuggle up
On the beach or in the snow
Always together, off they'd go

They were two such happy boys
Always playing with their toys
He loved the beach best of all
Especially if he had a ball

Christmas presents, Christmas dinner
Danny always was a winner
He got his turkey and the rest
Because he was the very best

He loved to travel in the car
He'd go anywhere, near or far
On his own or out with Paddy
Even with his sweetheart Maddie

One day he went to visit his Mum
He had lots and lots of fun
It was lovely to watch, Mother and son
He wanted a cuddle from everyone

From the moment we came together
I hoped that it would be forever
But Danny got ill and had to go
Every single day I miss him so

At Rainbow Bridge, you're running free
I feel I've lost half of me
I miss my clever happy lad
Paddy misses his doggy Dad

No more Danny walking with me
No more swimming in the sea
At Rainbow Bridge we'll meet one day
Then together forever, we will stay
