Q. Can I be assured the ashes returned to me will be the ashes of my pet?

A. As a member of the Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria we can guarantee the ashes returned to you will only be the ashes of your pet.

Q. Can you collect my pet directly from my Veterinary Surgery?

A. Yes, it only takes one phone call to us and we can arrange to collect your pet from the surgery. You should remember to tell your vet that the Pet Undertaker is making the arrangements for you on your behalf.

Q. How long do I have to wait before my pets ashes are returned to me?

A. Where possible your pets ashes will be returned on the same or following day, but no longer than 48 hours.

Q. Will my pet be transported in a van?

A. No, the Pet Undertaker feels your pet should be treated with the same dignity afforded to any member of a family and we only use a private pet hearse.

Q. Can my pet's favourite blanket be cremated with him/her?

A. Yes, you can have your pet wrapped in their favourite blanket or their favourite soft toy included with them at the time of Cremation.

Q. I cannot face taking my pet to the vets to be put to sleep, can you take my pet for me?

A. Yes, the Pet Undertaker will accompany your pet at all times throughout the process of euthanasia and make the arrangements for your pet to be cremated or buried.

Q. I am worried my pet will be kept in a freezer before it is cremated, will this happen?

A. No, we do not have freezers. Your pet will be transported directly to the Crematorium for his or her cremation or burial service.

Q. I am finding it difficult to cope after losing my pet as no one seems to understand the grief I feel, can you help?

A. As a qualified Pet Bereavement Counsellor The Pet Undertaker offers Pre & Post Euthanasia support for all members of the family.
